Beauty in Nature~ But Beauty is everywhere- in white clouds against the blue, in the gray bole of the beech, the play of a kitten, the lovely flight and beautiful coloring of birds, in the hills and the valleys and the streams, in the wind-flower and the blossom of the broom. What we call nature is all Beauty and delight, and the person who watches Nature closely and knows her well, like the poet Wordsworth, for example, has his Beauty Sense always active, always bringing him joy.

This guy was found on the back door to our cabin, near the outside handle...

There were so many violet-green swallows at Red Fish Lake, staying close to one another to prevent a hawk attack. Flying so swift and rarely perching for long, I was glad to capture this little guy. So beautiful!

Here my parents are ready to continue on their road trip journey; next stop, Yellowstone.

Before returning to Boise through the Sawtooth Mountains continuing south on the 75, making a complete loop and adding 219 miles today, we take a NATURE walk.

The trail follows a river...

We imagined ourselves entering the forest of Narnia...

(After listening to several chapters of Prince Caspian on the road and then going for a walk in the forest with no other people around and with a river flowing through it and a winding stream, IT was bound to happen...)

I prayed we wouldn't see any bears or wolves!

Thank you Jesus for keeping us safe in the wild forest.

That was the best nature walk ever! And long too, at about 2 miles in and 2 more back out; perfect before a long car ride and made for good napping.

We made it to the snow level in JUNE!
