Over 3 1/2 Years Growing

May 10 She gave her hair away for the second time. The first time Daddy cut it at home. It was difficult for us both, but not so for Julia. When she learned her Grandma donated her hair for a special child, she wanted to do the same. Julia was 5 then, and just starting kindergarten. After giving her hair away she decided she would grow her hair long and donate it again in the future. The time came last week when her hair was just too long, too long for sitting without sitting on it and too long for upcoming beach and pool days. It was easier for me this time, though her daddy needed a little convincing for cutting off more than just a trim. Julia likes the light feel and the ease of brushing her hair now and she is happy to know that her hair will be needed and loved by another.
