South Coast Botanic Garden

April 28 TORRANCE

Mary, Mary quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockle shells
And pretty maids all in a row.

Julia and James adored this NURSERY RHYME garden. With delight, they pumped water from the red handle and gave drink to the thirsty flowering plants. When the 'well' ran dry, James thought it wise to make way to the pond with his can, dip it in and deliver it back to the well. With help from the others the well was full again in little time.

The afternoon winds picked up and just look at this beautiful sight!
